Summer Sports 2025
Tennis
Vienna Recreation Tennis Program is a great opportunity to learn how to play tennis or advance your skills from a certified USPTA tennis professional. Players are introduced to the fundamentals of tennis through activities designed to build a solid foundation for long term athletic development. Activities are focused on developing the ABCs (agility, balance and coordination) all while forming the skills necessary to serve, rally and score.
Tentative Program is Monday through Thursday mornings.
- 8:00-8:30: 5-6 Year olds
- 8:30 – 9:30: 7, 8, & 9 year olds
- 9:30 – 10:30: Middle school
- 10:30 – 11:30: High School
Cheer
Cheerleading: The program will teach the fundamentals of cheer and dance and will lead the crowds at many flag and/or tackle football events. Practices begin the end of July and season runs to first weekend November. Sign ups opens June 1 and ends July 15. Practices held are at Vienna Rec Building and the Vienna Community Building. Cheer is for ages 5 to 12 yr olds. (K-6th)

Flag Football
Flag Football: Sign ups open June 23 and season will start in August. Program will be for K-2nd (2 Divisions: Competitive and Recreation) and Recreation Division for 3rd to 8th grade and a Recreation Division for high school age.
Kindergarten-2nd grade level we are offering two divisions, Competitive and Recreation.
K-2nd Competitive league play: (Wood County League)
This is for children who have a better understanding of how flag football works and they will be playing against a higher level of competition. There will be an assessment, and if we feel the child isn’t ready for this league we will have that conversation with the parents. Cost is $40 (includes football shirt and socks)

- Practice Location: Vienna Area
- Game Location: Wood County and other areas depending on the league.
K-2nd Recreation League Plan
Recreation League - This level of play is more focused towards teaching the basics and learning the game. They will practice on the same days and same time as the competitive league, and have a weekly game throughout the season to get the player the game time needed to develop. Cost is $40 (includes football shirt and socks)

- Age/Grade range: 3rd to 8th grade
- Age/Grade range: 9th-12th grade
- Sign ups open: July 1
- Sign ups Close: August 15
- Practice Starts: August 18
- Games Start: September 6th
- Season Ends: October 25
- Cost: $40
Fall Soccer
Soccer signups open on July 1 and season will start in August with practices.
First games is tentative planned for September 2ndd and run till end of October. Academy Soccer Program is for PreK3 & PreK4. Rec soccer league is for K-8th grade. Academy cost $30 per player and rec league is $40 per player.
Fall Baseball / Softball / T-Ball
Fall Baseball, T-Ball and Softball signups open in July 1 and season will start in August with practices.
T-Bal and 6U baseball are co-ed.
Softball league will have divisions 8U, 10U, 12U & 14U.
Baseball league will have divisions 8U & 10U
Program is $40 per player.
Coach and Assistant Coach Registration
We are also looking for positive role models to provide instruction on how to play the game, teach good sportsmanship and create the love for the sport. Please consider volunteering!
